- Betfair’s results for its financial year which ended in April show a 13% drop in gaming revenue. The fall was attributed to poker.
- The group’s strategy for the year was to concentrate on its sportsbook and on the markets it has identified as “sustainable”—the UK, Denmark, Ireland, Malta, Gibraltar and the US.
- The year has also seen a substantial increase in mobile revenues.
Betfair’s results for its financial year which ended in April show a 13% drop in gaming revenue, from £75.9m to £66.2m.
This was attributed primarily to “the continued decline in poker and lower revenues in other markets following the decision to focus on sustainable jurisdictions,” stated CEO Breon Corcoran.
