In a warning notice published on November 18, both operators and players have been informed that they face fines or prison terms if they participate in or promote online gambling.
The 2009 Gaming Act provisions are enforced by the Customs Service in the Ministry of Finance. The service stated that it has received information on 24,000 players who had participated in online gambling on the internet.
