For Third Year in a Row, New York Makes Online Poker Push

Once again, online poker bill moves through Senate Committee.

2018 marks the third year in a row that online poker has passed through the committee phase. By all accounts, support is still strong in the Senate and passage again this year is likely.

Lawmakers in the New York State Senate are once again looking to legalize online poker. By a margin of 10-1, the Senate Committee on Racing, Gaming and Wagering voted last week to refer S3898A to the Senate Finance Committee.
