The Garden City Group, claims administrator for victims of Full Tilt Poker, has confirmed to pokerfuse that they still plan to announce a launch date for when repayment will commence by the end of the week.
“The claims process will begin shortly. At this time we cannot provide a specific date, but expect to be able to provide a launch date by the end of this week,” said a spokesperson in a brief statement Wednesday.
Earlier this month, the group announced that its “review” period was complete, and that the claims process would begin shortly, but no dates have yet been set.
The claims administrator was appointed by the US Department of Justice to oversee the return of US player deposits in March 2013.
The group initiated a review of FTP accounts to determine who is eligible to reclaim funds, and for how much. Subsequently, it was determined that reimbursement would be “based on” the full account balances on the day of Black Friday—April 15, 2011.
