Full Tilt Online Poker Series XXIX Gets an Overhaul Full Tilt Online Poker Series XXIX Gets an Overhaul

Full Tilt has unveiled the new-look Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) XXIX which returns on the February 21 with 46 events and $1 million in guaranteed prize pools. The series runs for three weeks, finishing on the March 13.

Two FTOPS events will run per day, apart from Sundays which will see three events take place.

In Amaya’s (the owner of Full Tilt) bid to overhaul the FTOPS brand, the series is back with some major changes to help appeal to a broader spectrum of players.

Buy-in levels have to been broadened to cover a wider span of budgets ranging from $25-$500 or from as little 100 Full Tilt Points if entering a satellite tournament. This will hopefully allow players of all levels more of the chance to walk away with some of the $1 million in prize money.

Other highlights of the event include:

GOLDEN PARACHUTE

Didn’t win a seat? Fear not. The Golden Parachute has got you covered. Each week, any player who played a satellite event and did not win a seat to the target tournament will be awarded a free ticket to a Flip freeroll which will award free seats to that day’s FTOPS event. Flip freerolls are played every Sunday at 13:30 ET, and registration opens one hour before the event begins.

FTOPS FREE PASS

The top 50 players in each daily freeroll will be entered into the ‘FTOPS Free Pass’ Multi-Entry tournament awarding five Main Event tickets worth $500 to the lucky winner. The daily freerolls take place from Sunday, February 21 to Friday, March 11 at 15:00 ET.

LEADERBOARD

As traditionally seen in this series, players will earn leaderboard points depending on their finishing position in all the events they play in. Players can earn up to a whopping $5000 in leaderboard prizes throughout the series.

In addition, all final table players will be awarded with an FTOPS jacket and all event winners will go home with a gold FTOPS jersey.
