Joe Hachem Finds Liberal Position on Online Poker a "Disgrace"

Australia’s coming election on September 7 has Joe Hachem up in Twitter arms about the hypocrisy of government positions on gambling and their lack of understanding of poker.

He was particularly upset about the desire of leaders in Australia’s Liberal Party to ban online poker.

A series of tweets expressed what can only be described as outrage. First the 2005 WSOP Main Event winner re-tweeted an article from PokerAsiaPacific which took a very pessimistic view of the post-election future of online poker down under, then he let rip.

Joe should take a look at today’s pokerfuse PRO article on Australia—things may still be unclear, but the political reality may be less threatening than he fears.
