PartyPoker has released the schedule for its third annual Pokerfest tournament series, running four events each day from April 21 to May 5.

Buy-ins start as low as $0.50 and run up to $1,060, including a $640 buy-in main event with a $1.5m guaranteed prize pool, a $500k increase on last year.

Unlike PokerStars’ much larger SCOOP, which includes several poker variants, Pokerfest is almost exclusively Hold’em, with only two days carved out for Omaha tournaments.

There is $4m in guaranteed prizes across the 64 events. Five days of events allow for rebuys, while six days make room for PartyPoker’s “speed” tournaments.

There are several satellite events running through this month.

This year, the site also introduced “Daily Prize Cards,” collected by earning points, to help players qualify for the bigger events. A special deposit code—POKERFEST—also grants players an entry into a $10,000 Pokerfest Mega Satellite.

It will mark the third iteration of Pokerfest, PartyPoker’s first and only online poker tournament series. It debuted in October 2011 and ran a second season in April 2012. It did not return in winter 2012.

In the last year bwin.party have made significant changes to their online poker product in a bid to refocus on its recreational player base. Changes that made headlines include ending its top-tier VIP program, removing high stakes cash games and segregating players based on ability.
