- Revolution network adds fast-fold poker; Intertops/Juicy player pool will roll it out following testing.
- Bodog first offered the variant to US players when it introduced Zone Poker last month.
The Revolution Gaming Network is rolling out fast-fold poker. Win Cake is the first to introduce the new tables, with other skins expected soon.
Dubbed simply “fast fold poker,” the new tables support the same tried-and-true formula now ubiquitous in online poker: Players join an uncapped pool and are seated randomly at a cash table, and can immediately jump to the next hand with a new table of players with a click of a fast-fold button.
Win Cake, previously Cake Poker, announced the new tables late on Thursday in an email to players. Pools from €0.02/0.05 up to €0.50/€1 are available in NL and PLO and are already proving popular among players. Players can enter a pool up to three times.
A spokesperson for Intertops told pokerfuse that they plan to add support for fast-fold on low stakes “after copious tests” of the new feature. Intertops’ player pool is kept almost entirely separate from the rest of the network, with cash game tables shared only with Juicy Stakes.
Cashouts at Win Cake and related skins are very slow, with reported cashout times exceeding six months in some cases. Intertops maintains much faster cashouts, and the newly-acquired Juicy Stakes has also improved significantly since the transition.
Revolution becomes the second network that accepts US players to offer fast-fold post-Black Friday. Bovada was the first when it introduced Zone Poker last month.
