With summer coming to a close and fall dawning, 888poker is looking to bring a little autumn cheer to Ontario online poker players with the XL Autumn Series. Beginning on September 17 and running for more than two weeks, the Ontario-specific version of the XL Autumn will have more than $300,000 guaranteed.
Running through until Oct 2, the XL Autumn Series has nearly 60 events spread across the two weeks of action beginning on September 17, with 33 of those games billed as numbered events, and the other 24 as side events with XL Autumn branding and boosted guarantees, but without the official event designation.
There are a few big games throughout the series on 888poker Ontario, but the biggest, as usual, will be the Mystery Bounty Main Event. With $50k guaranteed for $162, the Main Event offers more than $300 guaranteed for every dollar of buy-in ($GTD/$BI).
Two games on the schedule offer more than $300 $GTD/$BI, and the other game to crack that threshold comes in with a bit more value than the Main Event. There is $35k guaranteed in the Mystery Bounty Main Event Warmup, but with a buy-in of just $109, it comes in a bit higher than the full Main in terms of value.

For the 33 featured events alone, that average guarantee jumps to more than $8,600, so there is a lot of extra money in play in the featured games, though all the XL Autumn branded tournaments over the next few weeks will see boosted guarantees.
While only two games in the series manage to hit the $300 $GTD/$BI value level, XL Autumn #05 Opening Day Ceremony comes close with a bit more than $275 $GTD/$BI and four more games on the schedule have at least $100 $GTD/$BI worth of value.
