Open Face Chinese poker site, TonyBet, has added Texas Hold’ em and Omaha to the list of games it offers, and the site is offering the new games without taking any fees.
No Limit Hold’ em and Pot Limit Omaha cash games are currently only offered at microstake levels with the blinds ranging from €0.01/€0.02 to €0.25/€0.50. The site plans to increase the available stakes over time and is also planning to add sit and gos and multi-table tournaments in the near future.
Keeping in the site’s tradition of trying to get players involved in the action by providing games that allow players to play a lot of hands, the new NLH and PLO games are only available at six max tables.
“I’m super excited about the addition of Texas Hold’em and Omaha cash games to the site,” Tonybet Poker pro Isabelle Mercier said. “We love OFC poker here at Tonybet and will continue spreading the word about this rapidly growing game. However, the new games will give us even more leverage in the competitive online poker market. I really admire the decision to make them rake-free on launch which should drive a massive amount of players once the good news gets out.”
Like many rest-of-world sites, TonyBet does not allow players from the US. Canadians are allowed and have many choices for gambling online. Players in Canada can review online sports betting and online casino options at www.online-casino-info.ca.
The new offerings at TonyBet come just weeks before the site will host the Open Face Chinese Poker World Championship at King’s Casino in the Corinthia Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic. The championship events will take place from December 6 – 8.
“We’re currently busy preparing for the upcoming OFC World Championship in Prague, but the launch of our in house built rake free six max Texas Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha cash games has been on our agenda for a while now and we didn’t want to wait any longer,” said Tonybet Poker representative Warren Lush.
“We remain the world’s leading Open Face Chinese poker site but now with the addition of new cash games give our players the chance to play NLH and PLO on our site instead of searching for them somewhere else,” Lush continued.
Satellites into the live events are currently running online.
