Despite Cashier Difficulties, Adjarabet Traffic Continues to Climb
Key Takeaways
  • Public traffic tracking for the site began in September 2013 as part of a strategy by the poker room to grow into markets outside of its native country.
  • Skrill was removed as a cashier option, and international credit card processing has been intermittent at best, leaving many players stranded.
  • Despite this, traffic is up approximately 16% since tracking began.

Traffic at the Georgian Adjarabet continues to climb, despite problems with both deposits and withdrawals for international customers.

Public traffic tracking for the site, provided by independent monitor PokerScout and available to pokerfuse PRO data subscribers, began in September 2013 as part of a strategy by the poker room to grow into markets outside of its native country.

However, its expansion aspirations have been severely hampered with payment processing difficulties. The site debuted Skrill as its primary deposit and withdrawal option, but this was removed in the beginning of 2014. Alastair Ives, Head of Poker at AdjaraBet, told pokerfuse PRO in an exclusive interview that the issue was related to weak fraud protections and the service would be reinstated soon.
