Special Discord tournaments at WPT Global have just become a whole lot better! In the past months, these tournaments have dished out thousands in tournament tickets for leaderboard winners, but in March and April, the operator is taking things up a notch.

Discord Tournament Ambassador Takeover Is On
As we’ve explained in an earlier article, Discord Tournaments at WPT Global take place once a week, on Sundays, and feature a buy-in of just $10. Players collect points in every tournament they play, and these points determine their place on the monthly Leaderboard, which gives out heaps of tournament tickets to top finishers.
For the next couple of months, though, there is even more value to be had, as the operator will pick one of its ambassadors ahead of every weekly event, and that player will be the tournament bounty with $500 on their head. Take the last of bounties chips to send them to the rail and earn $500 in cash.
If you get lucky enough to be the player to eliminate the bounty two weeks in a row, you’ll receive a special $1,000 bonus on top of the bounty money. Do it three times in a row, and WPT Global will reward you with a massive $5,000 cash prize.
Thus far, tournament fields have been pretty small, so you’ll have a decent shot at claiming bounties, at least to begin with. With all the extra money the room is throwing into these events, we expect that might change soon, so the sooner you get in the mix, the better.
Bigger & Better Leaderboard Prizes
Ambassador bounties are just one part of the story. There are also two leaderboards for the two monthly periods, with the March one featuring $7,000 in prizes, while the one in April offers $10,000 up for grabs.
The March Leaderboard runs March 3 — 24 and offers heaps of tournament tickets for the top three finishers:
