PokerStars North American Poker Tour Returns to Las Vegas in November PokerStars North American Poker Tour Returns to Las Vegas in November

The wait is finally over, as official dates for the 2024 PokerStars North American Poker Tour have been released. The festival is coming back to Las Vegas from November 1 — 10, promising heaps of action for everybody, with buy-ins starting as low as $250.

Last year, PokerStars US re-launched its popular North American Poker Tour, setting up the big stage in Las Vegas after a 12-year hiatus. The festival was a roaring success, with the $1,650 Main Event attracting 1,095 entries to handsomely beat its $1.5 million guarantee.

The operator took this opportunity to announce the return of its popular Big Game show, filming a new season during the 2023 NAPT with two loose cannons who won their seats via special freeroll qualifiers. The Big Game on Tour will start airing on the PokerStars YouTube channel on May 11.

With the return of the NAPT being such a success, PokerStars is looking to build on that momentum, looking to set up an even bigger festival in November, with all the action once again taking place at the Resorts World Las Vegas.

A Poker Tour for All Players

According to the initial press release, PokerStars is aiming to make the 2024 NAPT in Las Vegas available to as many players as possible. While the full schedule is yet to be released, the operator announced that there will be tournaments with a buy-in as low as $250.

For this year’s Main Event, PokerStars decided to up the ante, increasing the buy-in to $5,300. This will likely result in a much bigger guarantee for the tournament as well, although that piece of information hasn’t been released as of yet.

For the high rollers, there will be several five-figure tournaments, with the biggest buy-ins reaching $25,000, and if last year’s schedule is anything to go by, the schedule will feature a mix of Hold’em, PLO, and 8-Game, providing even more choice for the players to find their groove.

Encouraged by last year’s success, PokerStars seems determined to make its revived North American Poker Tour a staple of the yearly live schedule. Talking about the 2024 festival, Steve Preiss, VP PokerStars North America, stated:

“Last year, the NAPT smashed all expectations, so this year, we’re going even bigger. With a premier partner like Resorts World Las Vegas, we’re stepping up our game: bigger tournaments, buy-ins, and player-focused events.”

Online Qualifiers Coming Soon

All the details for the 2024 NAPT are still being ironed out, but players should have ample opportunities to qualify for the Main Event and some of the side events, both online and live.

With PokerStars looking to up its game and make this festival the one to remember, they’ll likely utilize their online presence in US regulated markets with qualifiers and satellites likely to be rolled out on PokerStars MI, PokerStars PA and PokerStars NJ. PokerStars will probably offer players a way to win their way to the 2024 NAPT in the ROW arena as a way to bring out as many players as possible to Las Vegas in November.

We’ll make sure to keep an eye out and bring you all the information about qualifiers as they make available to help you secure your seat at what’s promising to be one of the most exciting live events this year.

In the meantime, check out new episodes of The Big Game on Tour as they become available on the PokerStars YouTube channel. The show will bring out some of the greatest moments from the last year’s NAPT and help build up the hype for the upcoming festival.
