Unibet’s New Poker Room Goes Live

Recreationally-focused new independent poker room goes live for a real money beta test.

Though only considered a “beta test,” the platform is promoted on the Unibet.com website as the primary poker offering.
The MPN room is considered “Old Poker” and will be turned off in early March.
To encourage players to try out the new platform, all players have been given a welcome package which includes a no-deposit €500 bonus, released incrementally, with a 60-day playthrough requirement.

US Supreme Court Decision on Dicristina Review Expected Friday

On Friday the US Supreme Court will announce whether it has decided to examine the Dicristina case, and therefore issue a ruling that will have consequences for the legality of poker in many US States.

A decision by the Supreme Court would determine for many States whether poker, as a game of skill, is covered by gambling laws, and at a Federal level, whether it is covered by the Illegal Gambling Business Act.

Intertops Gradually Opening up its Player Pool

Increasing trust for other skins may underlie Intertops’ decision to gradually move away from a segregated player pool.

Intertops Poker has started to share more of its player pool with other skins on the Revolution Gaming Newtwork.
Intertops commented that it sees “the overall network situation improving.”
Lock Poker has left the network, WinCake has a new partner and Juicy Stakes Poker is under new ownership.
