I would like to start out this week by welcoming The Chirp Herm Show to the directory. Hosted by Tournament Poker Edge, this poker podcast looks at the world surrounding poker through the eyes of online MTT grinder and recovering alcoholic/addict Mark “Dipthrong” Herm.
The third episode has just been released and though I haven’t listened to it, I did get a chance to sample the previous episode featuring Amada Musumeci and found it interesting. I will probably go back and listen to the first episode as well where Herm talks about his own journey.

The PokerNews Podcast has released another episode of Strategy with Kristy where she continues her series on live cash games. This week her featured guest is 5/10 NL Las Vegas grinder Nick DiVella. This episode contains some very valuable advice for both professional and recreational players alike.
The focus of the show is moving up in stakes from 1/2 and 2/5 games to 5/10. DiVella reveals that not all games at the same stakes are alike and that players should consider caps (max buyin amounts) when selecting to enter higher stake games.
He also spends some time talking about how to treat recreational players at the table, expected hourly win rates, bankroll management and a lot more. But, rather than go on and on, just give the show a listen for yourself.
The Tournament Poker Edge Podcast has just released a cool new episode. Killingbird and RonFezBuddy welcome October Niner Robert Salaburu to the show. They engage in some really good discussion as they review hands some of Salaburu’s hands from the WSOP. They also talk with Rob about his poker background and approach to the game. Pokerfuse readers that did not watch a lot of the WSOP coverage on ESPN may not know a lot about Salaburu as he was one of only two October Niners that did not grant pokerfuse an interview.

The guys over at Ante Up! talk about a new game that they discovered called 6-card hold’em. I am not sure how prevalent this game is but Chris and Scott seemed very excited about the game having recently introduced it to their home game. Check out the beginning of the show for a brief discussion of the rules and their experience with the game.

Poker Fraud Alert has a good discussion about the situation over at the Merge Network. Druff outlines some of the inner workings of the Merge network, how individual skins operated within the network and how that has all played into the recent changes being implemented at Merge.
I would like to encourage people to make suggestions of poker podcasts to add to our directory. Though we have the best selection on the web, we are looking to raise the bar even higher. If your favorite show is willing and technologically compatible, we will check it out.
That’s all for this week. As usual, feel free to leave your own reviews or rip on mine.
