Popular sweepstakes poker site Global Poker has introduced an extra incentive for players grinding its Jackpot Sit’n'Go games, the operator’s jackpot sit and go format.
The games themselves remain unchanged, with the top prize still 200x the buy-in. However, players can now earn additional rewards simply by playing through a new promotion called PowerStreak.
PowerStreak is essentially a daily leaderboard built around Global Poker’s Jackpot Sit’n'Go games. The promotion rewards players for completing a streak of five consecutive games without taking a break while also posting strong results. The highest-scoring streaks each day earn a place on the leaderboard and a share of the prizes.
How PowerStreak Works
Players who finish inside the top 10 on the leaderboard split more than SC 500 worth of Jackpot Sit’n'Go entry tickets every day. There is no limit to the number of streaks a player can attempt, with only their highest-scoring five-game run counting toward the leaderboard.
To keep the competition balanced, the operator has divided the promotion into two separate leaderboards. The Low leaderboard is reserved for SC 0.25 and SC 1 Jackpot Sit’n'Go games, while the High leaderboard covers the SC 5 and SC 10 buy-in levels.
The Low leaderboard distributes SC 100 in daily prizes across the top 10 finishers, all paid in SC 1 Jackpot Sit’n'Go tickets. The player finishing first receives 40 SC 1 entries.
The High leaderboard awards SC 410 in daily prizes, also shared among the top 10 finishers, but in the form of SC 10 Jackpot Sit’n'Go tickets. The winner collects 15 SC 10 entries.
While the sweepstakes model does not offer direct cash prizes, Sweeps Coins can be redeemed for real money rewards at a rate of 1 SC to $1 USD.
Global Poker says all prizes are funded entirely by the operator, with no additional fees charged to players to participate in the promotion.
The leaderboard scoring system is straightforward. Every game awards points based on the jackpot multiplier that was rolled, with the multiplier capped at 10x for scoring purposes. Players who win their tournament receive double points, while those competing at the higher buy-ins on the High leaderboard also receive an additional multiplier.
In simple terms, stronger finishes and bigger jackpot multipliers lead to more points, while higher buy-in games are worth even more. A player’s leaderboard score is based on the total points from their best sequence of five consecutive games.
The streak can begin at any point during a session. For example, if a player completes seven games, their qualifying streak could be games one through five, two through six, or three through seven, as long as the games are played consecutively. At the end of each day, Global automatically selects the highest-scoring five-game streak.
The promotion is designed to encourage players to keep playing consecutive Jackpot Sit’n'Go games, with daily leaderboard prizes providing an additional incentive beyond the randomized prize pools.
Global Poker’s Spins
Jackpot Sit’n'Go games, commonly known across the industry as Spins, remain one of the most popular online poker formats. Nearly every major operator offers its own version, including Clubs Poker, and they continue to generate a significant share of tournament traffic. On Global Poker, the format is available at four buy-in levels: SC 0.25, SC 1, SC 5, and SC 10.
Like other jackpot sit-and-go formats, Global Poker’s version features three-handed, winner-takes-all action, with the prize pool randomly determined before the tournament begins. Most games award between 2x and 10x the buy-in, while the top jackpot reaches 200x. Although the maximum prize is smaller than versions offered by operators such as FanDuel Poker or WSOP’s Blast, the odds of hitting the top jackpot are considerably better at roughly three in every 10,000 games.

All Jackpot Sit’n'Go games are played three-handed in a hyper-turbo format with a winner-takes-all payout structure. The only exception is when the 200x jackpot is awarded. In those games, first place receives 75% of the prize pool, second place earns 15%, and the first player eliminated still collects the remaining 10%.
Global Poker also charges a competitive 6.1% rake, below what is typically seen across the industry.
With the launch of PowerStreak, the operator has introduced another layer of rewards to one of its most popular game formats. Based on the current terms, the promotion appears to be an ongoing addition rather than a limited-time campaign.
