PokerStars and its Formula 1 racing partner, Oracle Red Bull Racing (ORBR), joined forces again to host three charity events.
These special tournaments, featuring a $200 buy-in, will take place at Resorts World Las Vegas on November 16, 17, and 18, right after the conclusion of PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT).
These charity initiatives support ORBR’s official charity partner, Wings for Life, founded by Red Bull’s Dietrich Mateschitz, who is committed to advancing spinal cord injury research through funding world-class scientific studies and clinical trials.
To make these events accessible, PokerStars will organize beginners’ tutorials ahead of each tournament, providing newcomers with insights and tips to improve their poker experience.
On Thursday, November 16, a 90-minute Women’s Beginners’ tutorial will precede the first charity event from 2 pm to 6 pm. The following day, Friday, November 17, will feature a Mixed beginners’ tutorial followed by a second charity event.
The charity poker series concludes on Saturday, November 18, with another mixed beginners’ tutorial leading to the final event at 2 pm.
50% of the prize pool from each event will go directly to Wings for Life.
In addition to these three charity events, a VIP Invitational Freeroll is scheduled for November 16, with further details yet to be disclosed.
The charity events scheduled for November 16, 17, and 18 offer more than a chance at poker glory. Two Hospitality ticket packages for the F1 evening race await the winners, providing an exclusive experience with Oracle Red Bull Racing.
Additionally, the top performer in each tournament will be awarded an iconic PokerStars spade Trophy. To further sweeten the deal, every participant in these charity tournaments will receive exclusive PokerStars x ORBR goodie bags.
PokerStars’ partnership with Oracle dates back to January 2022. Earlier this year, they renewed their partnership, ensuring the continuation of their successful collaboration for a second consecutive year.
Recent joint initiatives included the “Win Your Way To Vegas With Pokerstars Red Spade Pass” promotion, offering players a chance to win the Las Vegas F1 Race and “Vegas Gold Passes”, providing entry into the high-stakes NAPT event and an exclusive Formula 1 experience.
