Global Poker League Teams Start Selecting Their Wildcards Global Poker League Teams Start Selecting Their Wildcards

Following the Global Poker League Draft Day last month when the GPL teams were picked, five out of the twelve franchises have made their “wildcard” selections which finalizes their rosters.

The Rome Emperors, Paris Aviators, Moscow Wolverines and London Royals have all made their final selections. Each team manager has until the end of March to pick two wildcards to supplement their team.

Paris Aviators

Announcing his wildcard picks from sunny Malta, Team Manager Fabrice Soulier was the first to announce his selection two days ago. To supplement his team of Bertrand “Elky” Grospellier, Davidi Kitai, George Danzer and Mike Leah, Soulier himself will be playing along with Alex Lunaeu the french poker player, with Team Winamax.

Moscow Wolverines

The Rome Emperors

Next up was Max Pescatori announcing his wildcards from what looked like the races. He selected his “good friend” Todd Brunson, and like his fellow team managers, has decided to play himself. They will be joining Mustapha Kanit, Dario Sammartino, Timothy Adams and Walter Treccarichi.
