George Danzer won Event #43: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo Split-8 or Better Championship defeating Randy Ohel head to head with for the title.

The victory gave Danzer the 4th World Series of Poker bracelet of his career but his first at this year’s Series. He was also awarded $338,646 in prize winnings.

Runner-up Randy Ohel received $209,302—this was his third final table appearance and his fifth top-ten finish of the summer.

Danzer outlasted 135 other players to win his second bracelet in a Stud Hi/Lo Championship in three years.

Events finishing today

David Pham leads the field as 27 players come back to play the final day of Event #41: $1500 MONSTER Stack No-Limit Hold’em. Cody Pack and Gina Stagnito round out the top three chip leaders at the start of the day.

Event #44: $1000 No-Limit Hold’em also finishes up today with 19 players remaining. The event started with 2,076 entrants all playing for a total prize pool of $1,868,400—the winner will receive $298,849 in prize winnings. The unofficial chip leader headed into the final day of play is Young Sik Eum, from Los Angeles with 1,400,000 chips followed by Michael Shanahan with 1,079,000 and Niel Mittelman with 803,000.

Fifteen players remain in Event #45: $1500 Mixed No-Limit Hold’em/Pot-Limit Omaha as action concludes today. At the time of writing Loren Klein is chip leader followed by Steven Gagliano and Dmitry Savelyev.
