WSOP.com reported that Although two-time bracelet winner Scott Clements had the chip lead going into the Final Table it was Levi Berger who emerged victorious in Event #11, $2500 No-Limit Hold’em (Six handed).
Berger, who sat 2nd in chips when only six players remained, ended up eliminating every other contestant at the table, including Clements heads-up, to claim the massive $473,019 prize and his very first WSOP bracelet. Although Clements was denied his third WSOP victory, he did receive a healthy consolation prize of $292,339 for 2nd place.
