Season 10 of the European Poker Tour (EPT) continues today as EPT London kicks off from its new venue—the Grand Connaught Rooms in London’s Covent Garden.
The poker festival, taking place October 2-12, spans 36 events including events under the United Kingdom Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) banner.
The festivities kick off with Day 1A of the £1,000 + £100 UKIPT Main Event on October 2.
The next major event will take place on Friday October 4 when the £50,000 EPT10 8-Handed Super High Roller with Unlimited Re-Entry is expected to draw some of the biggest names in professional poker to the felt.
Then on Sunday, October 6 Day 1A of the £5,000 + £250 EPT London Main Event begins as officials hope to best the 647 runners that took part in EPT9 London this past March.
In addition, there is a number of side events with various buyins spanning multiple poker disciplines, including PLO, Omaha High/Low, Omaha 8/Stud8 and a Chinese Poker tournament as well. The full schedule of all 36 events is available directly from the European Poker Tour website.
This season, players are able to buyin to all EPT London events via their PokerStars account up to two hours ahead of time, as well as use traditional methods of cash and debit cards. With that, PokerStars is trying to get the word out to players on what is necessary to get registered for tournaments and where to go if players want a seat in a cash game.
The registration process is not as straight forward as it could be, so PokerStars created an infographic to help players save time and decide how they want to register.
EPT Live, with Joe Stapleton and James Hartigan, will also be back on the air covering all the action starting on October 4 with Day 1 of the EPT London Super High Roller. Daily live coverage with commentary continues straight through to the EPT London Main Event Final Table (with Hole Cards) on October 12.
