Nine-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Ivey is on the hunt this summer for Bracelet number 10 and he has a shot at it in WSOP Event #18, $1000 No-Limit Hold’em.
When Day 3 resumes at 1PM PST, the final 14 will return to the felt to crown a champion. Despite having a below-average stack, Ivey currently sits in 9th. All eyes will be on Phil as he looks to become just the 4th person in history to claim 10 or more WSOP Bracelets.
Standing in his way is massive chipleader Taylor Paur, but talented Canadian bracelet winner Daniel Idema and eleven others are determined to take it themselves. History is on their side, as noted by WSOP.com, as all of Ivey’s previous bracelet wins have come in disciplines other than No-Limit Hold’em.
