It took 8 years, but Cliff Josephy has found his way back to the winner’s circle. Josephy, well known online as “JohnnyBax” out gunned a loaded Final Table in Event #9, $3,000 No-Limit Hold’em Shootout to win his second WSOP Bracelet, his first came in 2005, and become the first repeat Bracelet winner of the 2013 WSOP.

It was a commanding performance that found Josephy big stacked through the majority of the Final Table as he outlasted fellow professionals Tim West, David “Bakes” Baker, Chris Klodnicki and Max Steinberg among others. Josephy, well known for his staking empire that included WSOP 2009 Main Event Champ Joe Cada, also picked up nearly $300,000 in 1st place money, which he can now put to work.

In other action last night, tt was a long haul in Event #10, $1500 Limit Hold’em, but after over 100 hands of clicking it back against Canadian Mark Mierkains, professional poker player Brent Wheeler finally captured his first WSOP Bracelet and his largest score to date of over $191,000.
