High stakes online cash player Niklas Heinecker has won the PokerStars sponsored GuangDong Ltd Asia Millions (GDAM).
First place in the HK$1m rebuy tournament paid a very healthy HK$34.6m (over US$4.4m) after 54 rebuys boosted the prize pool.
Australian pro Jeff Rossiter picked up over US$3m for second, and big names Sorel Mizzi and Ike Haxton also received US$2m and US$1.3m plus payouts for their respective third and fifth place finishes.
The professionals failed to pick up all the top spots as 46 year old Zheng Tang, a real estate broker, turned his four years of poker experience into a fourth place payout of US$1.6m.
