Party Poker Premiere League VII recently announced the first batch of names that are confirmed to attend the massive $125k buyin televised event. The tournament is set to take place next month, from November 20-26, at the Playground Poker Club in Montreal, Canada.

Last week it was confirmed that Premiere League staple and one of the “Bad Boys of Poker”, Tony G, would again ride in and headline the tournament. Joining him is Ultimate Poker brand ambassador and current All Time Money List leader, Antonio “The Magician” Esfandiari, who took 3rd place in Premiere League VI for 150k.

This week it was announced that Esfandiari’s good friend and ESPN analysis partner, Phil “The Unibomber” Laak, will also be taking a seat at the table.

“The Premier League is awesome. And Montreal is awesome! Massively stoked for this event….!” Laak is quoted as saying on the Party Poker blog.

In addition to Laak, professional poker player Jeff Gross is fired up to join the action.

“So excited to be playing in the Party Poker Premier League! It is a great honor to be invited and compete with many of the top players in the game,” Gross says, “This is a very prestigious title and thrilled it is at Playground Poker which is my favorite venue to play poker at. Montreal is world class city and I will be counting down the days until November 20th!!”

Gross may be well-known as being tight with 18-time Gold Medalist Michael Phelps, but he has also eclipsed the $1.5 million dollar mark in lifetime tournament earnings making him a threat to take the title this time around.

With only 12 spots available this time around, that means there’s only eight more superstars yet to be announced. To keep a close eye on who will be joining the roster for Premiere League VII, check out the PartyPoker.com blog.
