Poker Central, the world’s only 24/7 devoted poker channel, has released the programming schedule for its October 1 launch. The new channel is premiering with “thousands of hours of new, fresh content,” along with several classic shows.

The schedule includes several programs that will be making their US premieres including popular shows such as Seasons 6 and 7 of Premier League Poker, The Big Game VI, VII & VIII, 100 Greatest Poker Moments and Season 1 of the Women’s World Open.

Other classics include Poker After Dark and High Stakes Poker.

In December, Poker Central will introduce the highly anticipated Super High Roller Cash Game. Produced by Mori Eskandani’s Poker PROductions, the same company that produced fan favorite High Stakes Poker, and play-by-play from AJ Benza, also know for his work on HSP, the new show is expected to capture much of the magic of poker programming’s heyday.

Fresh Content For Fans

“Poker Central is about to super serve the tens of millions of passionate and sophisticated poker fans in the United States and around the world,” said Clint Stinchcomb, CEO of Poker Central.

“With thousands of hours of new, fresh content, Poker Central aims to entertain as well as it inform.”

Dan Russell, Senior Vice President of Programming for Poker Central, told Poker Industry PRO that fans can expect more than just play at the tables.

“Along with plenty of 'all in moments’ that viewers will always enjoy, we are producing a number of original series with subject matter that goes, ‘off the felt’,” he said. “Along with traditional tournament play, Poker Central will feature events that include heads-up, all female, team, doubles, made-for-TV formats, high roller, cash games, and more.”

To help celebrate the launch, Poker Central is giving away a once-in-a-lifetime poker experience. Winning viewers will be awarded a trip to Las Vegas where they will have a one on one poker session with either Phil Helmuth, Antonio Esfandiari or Daniel Negreanu.

To enter, viewers just need to upload their “poker face” to the website for their chance to win. The three poker pros will serve as celebrity judges and chose the winners.
