Popular rakeback affiliate RakeReduction, also operator of RakeUpdate.com, has been offline since early August, causing worry among customers and sub-affiliates still owed past payments. According to some estimates, the business owes in access of $500k.
A notice posted on its websites claims that an internal dispute with its software providers has resulted in the service becoming “temporarily inaccessible,” and that they are “actively working to resolve this situation quickly.” A post from a customer service representative 11 days ago stated that they had hired developers to update the website and hoped to start repaying customers “hopefully early next week.”
But the deadline has come and gone, and there has been no further communication from support representatives. Posting in detail on his personal blog, “PokerAddict,” moderator of the affiliate forum on 2+2, estimates that over $500k is owed to its customers.
