New Software Improvements for Ultimate Poker Players New Software Improvements for Ultimate Poker Players

Ultimate Gaming announced Thursday that it has released a slew of software upgrades for its client in both New Jersey and Nevada. One of the most prominent changes comes in the form of an improved geolocation process for both states.

For Ultimate’s players in New Jersey, geolocation no longer requires a mobile phone to verify one’s physical location—the process now depends on Wi-Fi.

The same goes for Nevada, provided a Wi-Fi connection is already established. Previous issues related to public hotspots and poor reception have been resolved, according to the press release.

Ultimate Gaming CEO Tobin Prior said Thursday that “these software releases mark a significant initial step forward in terms of our company’s focus on responding to our customers’ needs and making steady progress on improving the online gaming experience.”

The Ultimate Gaming client has had a number of challenges in its first year of operation, including false negatives when geolocating players and service outages.

Long-Awaited Poker Features

Hand Histories, Player Notes, Time Banks and Automatic Bonus Calculation have also been added in both states.

Waitlists for occupied tables have been added for Ultimate Poker Nevada customers, and is expected to be added for New Jersey players soon. Poker tournament rebuy and add-on information is now available within the lobby.

Players in the state of Nevada will also be happy to learn that they can now use the Ultimate Prepaid Debit Card to deposit and withdraw from the site. This service is already available in New Jersey.

New casino games are scheduled to be released in upcoming months on Ultimate Gaming, and the iOS experience has been improved through more user-friendly navigation.
