The poker world is just one week away from the latest live festival from global poker juggernaut PokerStars. Starting on June 27, hordes of players will descend on Malta for a week of live poker action.
There will be daily action from the opening day through Sunday, July 2, when the series ends with the final day of the Main Event and Malta Cup and a couple of side events.
Malta hosts the latest stop on the PokerStars Live tour. There are a total of 19 events scheduled across the week-long Summer Festival, with eight of those games being qualifiers to bigger, full events in the series.
The satellite action gets underway immediately, with players having a shot at €2200 High Roller tickets on the festival’s opening day for the low price of just €250.
There are qualifiers scheduled every day of the festival, typically with more than one to choose from, with the final qualifier game running on June 30 for seats to the Malta Cup. On Saturday, a special satellite freeroll will open only to online qualifiers, with seats to the Regional Tour Main Event as the prize.
Of course, there will be more than just qualifiers. The big High Roller event is the first to go right out of the gate, with Day 1a playing on Tuesday, June 27. There are two Day 1 shots at the High Roller on the opening day, and Day 2 will finish the game on Wednesday. Main Event flights begin on Wednesday, and players will get four kicks at that can.

Something for Everyone at Summer Festival Malta
While the series clocks in at just six days of poker, the days are pretty full of on-the-felt action. For players looking to satellite into the larger events, the opening day of play features chances to bag a cheap seat to the Main Event and the High Roller with three qualifier games running.
Qualifiers start as low as €80, with that particular game offering tickets to the final flight of the Malta Cup, and there are also Main Event satellites starting at €125, with the High Roller feeders costing €250 to get a shot at a seat.

Summer Festival Malta 2023 Online Qualifiers
MTTs from €220 to €5,300
No matter how big a player’s bankroll is, they can find something to play with real money prizes at the end of the Summer Festival Malta. The real-money MTTs in Malta start at just €220, and there are two Freezeout games at that price, one on June 29 and one on July 1.
There is a PLO event and the Malta Cup priced at €330, and for players with the deepest pockets, the €5300 Super High Roller on the second-last day of the series will be the game to watch for. Price-wise, the Main Event, the High Roller, and Live on Stars are in the middle of all that.
