With the action kicking off on Nov 12 and running for eight days, the total prizes are guaranteed to be just shy of $3.6 million, but it seems likely that those numbers will be eclipsed.
The 50/50 Series is back at PokerStars this month with 50 games priced at $50 each. The series runs from November 12 through November 19, and there is $3,596,000 guaranteed across the board.
The median guarantee across the 50 games is $50k, so the series might actually be called the 50/50(50k), but when the average is looked at, the number jumps to more than $71k for the average guarantee.
While most games have pretty juicy value, the Main Event on November 19 stands above the rest. With $400k guaranteed, it is the best-value game of the series by far. Other series highlights include the $300k Mini Bounty Builder HR PKO on the opening day and the closing day’s The Copacabana PKO with $150k guaranteed.

The stage is set for the 50/50 Series from PokerStars. Starting November 12, players will have several shots every day to join tournaments featuring different games and formats, but all with the same buy-in of $50.
The full schedule is at the bottom of this article, but there are a few standout games to note. As is often the case, the Main Event is this series’s jewel in the Red Spade, with $400k guaranteed for the $50 buy-in. The two-day Main Event, which plays as a PKO game, kicks off its opening day of play on November 19, with a winner expected to be crowned on November 20 after Day 2 resumes at 12:30 ET.
Other sparklers on the schedule include the opening day version of the Mini Bounty Builder HR PKO. This game runs daily throughout the series with a typical guarantee of $125k, but the opening-day version is juiced up to $300k for the second-best value game of the whole series.
The Copacabana is another game that runs daily throughout the series, typically in a non-bounty format, with a guarantee of $50k. However, the closing day version of The Copa switches to the PKO format and beefs up the guarantee to $150k. Another honorable mention for value goes to the opening-day version of the Copa, which has a guarantee of $100k.
With $125k guaranteed in most versions, the Mini Bounty Builder HR PKO is the most regular high-value game. The $125k game occupies spots four through nine on the best-value list for this series, with the beefed-up opener coming in second.

It looks like the 50/50 Series from PokerStars will be a great antidote to the FOMO for players not in Las Vegas this month for the NAPT festivities as it returns from over a decade in the wilderness.
