888poker has renewed its deal with Matchroom Sport to sponsor the PGA EuroPro Golf Tour. Tour events run from April to October at major course across the UK.
888.com SVP Itai Pazner commented; “Last year’s tour was a great success for our poker brand and offered our online player’s access to the prestigious PGA Tour. We hope this year our new integrations will take the partnership to the next level.”
The EuroPro tour advances the top five finishers to the Challenge Tour, and several players have gone on to compete in the elite European Tour.
While the tour is not the big money occasion typically sponsored by industry leaders, it secure a respectable TV audience in a demographic which works well for 888poker.
