Ilari Sahamies, known as Ziigmund, took down the largest cash game pot in PokerStars history on Wednesday. Though bigger pots have been won online, the $200/$400 Pot Limit Omaha hand with a pot of $421,826.00 was the largest for PokerStars.
Nosebleed stakes were predominantly played on Full Tilt Poker (FTP). Since the events of Black Friday, which lead to the eventual suspension of FTP’s license and closure of the poker room, PokerStars’ games have been slow to reach the level that had been achieved on FTP.
