Deposit Restrictions Hamper WSOP Day 1
Key Takeaways
  • Reports surfaced of problems depositing via major bank credit cards.
  • ACH transfers currently have a $500 per day maximum deposit limit.
  • WSOP has indicated that depositing issues are being worked on and that, once resolved, deposit limits would “likely be fixed as well.”

It has been just over 24 hours since the official launch of WSOP.com, Nevada’s second legal online poker site, and while residents and visitors to the state of Nevada have been able to log on and play for real-money, the launch has not been without its initial hiccups.

Reports on Two Plus Two of cashier problems hampering player deposits surfaced on day one and were later confirmed by the WSOP.com forum representative.

Forum members reported multiple problems depositing via major bank credit cards. Additionally ACH transfers, which were successful, came with a $500 a day maximum deposit limit.

Currently, deposits for WSOP.com are not being accepted at Caesars Entertainment locations. The WSOP.com forum representative did post that the depositing issues are being worked on and that, once resolved, deposit limits would “likely be fixed as well.”

WSOP.com officially went online Thursday, Sept 19 at 9:19am PST but real-money gaming became available to early adopters days before.

As WSOP.com moves forward improving their online site, updates on depositing can be found in their sponsored forum on Two Plus Two.
