Genting announced without warning last week that a long-running agreement with online poker community The Hendon Mob would end, and first stated it would not honor bonus money accrued as part of a staking promotion. On Monday it reversed this decision and said it would honor the points.
The situation has now improved further, according to the latest post from the new Poker Room manager, James Lowe—players will now receive 100% of winnings from tournaments played using the special promotional points (the previous arrangement was a 50/50 split), and special tournaments with as low as a £1.10 buyin have been created so even small balances can be used for tournaments.
