iPoker’s new HTML5 application has started to roll out across its skins. Currently, Bet365 and Winner.com are the first to offer the new browser-based client.

Pokerfuse first revealed that a mobile-friendly HTML5 app was in the works back in April, and its debut was slated to be weeks away. However, it took until this weekend for the first rollout of the client.

Currently, Winner Poker is promoting its new client, accessible directly through mpoker.winner.com. It works on the iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and all Android devices, and should work on modern desktop browsers too.

Bet365, another top-tier iPoker poker room, is also now promoting the new client, although it advertises that the new client is only available on the iPhone and iPad. Players are directed to poker.bet365.com on their devices to access the client.

The mobile client supports the standard cash games and iPoker’s fast-fold product Speed Poker. According to the blurb on Bet365, tournaments are not currently available, although the screenshots from Winner, above, suggest SNGs and tournaments will also be supported.

The new platform is integrated into Playtech’s mobile sports and casino products. Players can sign up and deposit entirely from the mobile application.

A roll out across other iPoker skins and internationally can be expected soon, as well as further development to improve the range of games offered on the client.

iPoker is one of the last major network operators to launch a mobile product. Playtech admits in its latest results that it has not taken full advantage of the growth in mobile gaming. Native Android and iOS clients are also expected, and its rollout to regulated markets will come soon.

One of iPoker’s most popular skins PaddyPower recently reported that 43% of its online revenues were now generated by mobile users. That may soon increase as the new client is made available to all the iPoker network skins.
