PartyPoker announced on Friday the release of their first client for Mac OS X. According to the release notes, the first version supports cash games only.
Party joins the growing list of of poker rooms that offer dedicated downloadable poker clients for Apple computers. Although browser-based clients have been around since the beginning of internet poker, stand-alone clients have been traditionally Windows-only. PokerStars and the now-defunct Full Tilt were one of the first to offer a Mac download, and Merge Gaming Network followed suit late in 2010.
The download is available for OSX users from PartyPoker’s blog.
