PokerStars has just announced they have added a new tournament format to their repertoire. “Time Tourneys” have fixed durations lasting between 15 minutes and 3 hours. When time for the tournament has expired, payouts are awarded based on chip counts. Buyins for the new format start as low as $1.
A two-hour $22 buyin Time Tourney with a $10k guarantee has been added to the Saturday schedule of tournaments and will run every week at 13:00 ET starting October 22.
