Governor Andy Beshear said retail sportsbooks in Kentucky, which have been open for nearly a month, have taken over $10 million in wagers since launch.
Seven operators began accepting mobile wagers in the Bluegrass State on Thursday, with Circa Sports planning to join the group by year’s end.

Republicans also allowed a separate bill that would have created a $50 million problem gambling fund to die in a Senate committee.
Supporters of expanded gaming in Kentucky caught a big break when legislation was read twice before a 10-day recess. But there are only two days left for this year’s legislative session and some conservatives remain opposed.
In separate legislation, the House reduced the amount earmarked for the state’s problem gambling fund to $50 million, down from $225 million. But lawmakers are running out of time to pass both bills.
