GGPoker, WSOP and Triton partner to offer a gold bracelet series in The Bahamas. Here’s what we can expect from the 2024 series.
Last updated: September 12, 2024
The WSOP Paradise returns for 2024! The standout series takes place once again in The Bahamas at the iconic Atlantis Resort. And this year it is getting a major update: GGPoker and WSOP have partnered with the famous super high-roller brand, Triton Poker.
The Main Event for WSOP Paradise has also been revamped. It is now called the “WSOP Paradise Super Main Event” and it will guarantee $50 million — the largest guarantee for a single event ever seen on the live circuit.
There will be 15 WSOP gold bracelet events and buy-ins for events will start at $1,500 and go up to $1,000,000.
Online qualifiers on GGPoker and WSOP are currently underway.
WSOP Paradise will also host for the first time a Triton Millions event that welcomes poker pros and their celebrity partners to a super high-roller, invite-only event. It will be the first time the Triton Millions has taken place in The Bahamas, and the first time as part of WSOP Paradise.
Yes! Online qualifiers and promotions are now running on GGPoker and WSOP Online. This means players in regulated US markets such as Nevada, New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania can enter through WSOP Online and international players through GGPoker. Last year the operators sent over 1,000 players to Paradise for a fraction of the usual cost via its online qualifier routes, and this year is no different.

WSOP Paradise will hope to become the go-to, unmissable high roller event of the winter. It looks set to trump the WPT Championship, which in 2023 featured an iconic Main Event that guaranteed $40 million.
In their quest to do this, the WSOP have partnered with Triton Poker for the first time, a name synonymous with super high roller events that run around the globe.
WSOP Paradise will be playing host to the Triton Millions event for the first time as part of the series.
The Triton Millions event will begin on December 7, where the field is split between invited players paired between poker pros and A list poker enthusiasts. Each pair of players will contribute $1 million to the prize pool.
“We are thrilled to showcase the Triton Series in the Bahamas for the first time, marking a significant milestone in our journey,” said Andy Wong, CEO of Triton Series via press release. “This event brings us closer to North America, expanding our reach and allowing more poker enthusiasts to experience our unrivaled high-stakes format.”
“Our partnership with GGPoker and WSOP further strengthens our commitment to delivering premier poker experiences,” he added. “Hosting at the iconic Atlantis resort is an honor, as we set new benchmarks for poker tournaments and elevate the excitement and prestige of our events”.
Even more audaciously, WSOP have revamped their Main Event to a “Super Main Event” that will guarantee $50 million. The buy-in will sit at $25,000. It require 2000 players to avoid an overlay.
“This is one you can’t miss,” Daniel Negreanu, GGPoker Global Ambassador said via press release. “There were a lot of learnings from year one and everything is going to be bigger and better. A 50 million guarantee in the Bahamas! Are these guys crazy?”
The Super Main Event will be become the biggest guarantee for a single event in live poker history, unless the WPT Championship ups their $40 million guarantee Main Event as part of the WPT Championships. However, its worth noting the WPT Main Event usually comes with a buy-in of $10,400 buy in wheres the WSOP Paradise Super Main Event will be over double that.
“The action we saw during the WSOP summer series is a testament to the health of poker, particularly for high-roller tournaments,” said Ty Stewart, SVP & Executive Director of the WSOP. “Last year was no onetime gimmick. We’re thrilled GGPoker has reaffirmed their commitment to building WSOP Paradise through the biggest guarantee in poker history.”
As we know WSOP Paradise returns to the iconic Atlantis Paradise Island hotel and resort for a second year running, making it a great location for players looking for some winter sun.
“We are thrilled to welcome back WSOP Paradise players, guests, and fans for the second year to Atlantis Paradise Island, the entertainment capital of the Caribbean. This monumental tournament offers attendees the opportunity to experience Atlantis’ $150 million renovation, including the opulent Atlantis Casino, Bar Sol, The Royal Towers, and several new dining options. See you in Paradise!” said Joe Brunini, Chief Gaming and Customer Development Officer at Atlantis Paradise Island.
The WSOP+ App was missing during this year’s WSOP 2024 live series in Las Vegas, but is confirmed as returning to the Paradise event for 2024.
It is an app designed to speed up registration & gameplay processes. It was a huge hit last year when it debuted at WSOP Paradise 2023.
It allows players to load up a bankroll and register for events online, avoiding long registration lines and getting into events quickly and fuss-free. It then shows live tournament stats, like flight levels, players remaining, and prize pool distribution.
It is recommended that anyone playing the Paradise series to install it so that you can easily stay up to date with real-time info, tournament details and registration.
Features of the WSOP+ app include:
Last year, GGPoker and WSOP hosted numerous online promotions and qualifiers throughout the summer and fall leading up to the debut of WSOP Paradise.
GGPoker successfully qualified 1,000 players for WSOP Paradise through online satellites, offering a range of packages including a $10,000 Main Event entry and 200 High Roller packages worth $35,000 each.
This year, the excitement continues with the Road to Paradise promotion, which is currently active on both GGPoker and WSOP platforms. However, there’s a notable difference this time around.
As we know, WSOP is set to host a record-breaking $50 million guaranteed tournament in the Bahamas — the largest single-event poker tournament guarantee ever. In anticipation, both GGPoker and WSOP are running online qualifiers for this monumental event, known as the Paradise Super Main Event.
On GGPoker, qualifiers start as low as 60 cents and are available round the clock, with multiple events running daily. Players can also enter higher buy-in qualifiers priced at $1, $6, and $25, progressing through various stages. The $60 Road to Paradise Super Main Event qualifier is a key event, leading to a $600 Final Stage that awards at least 10 $30,000 packages.
Each $30,000 package includes a seat at the Paradise Super Main Event, which has a $26,000 buy-in, and $4,000 for accommodation at The Cove at Atlantis. These qualifiers are also available on the GGPoker Ontario platform.
For players in the US, WSOP is managing online qualifiers in Michigan, New Jersey, and Nevada. Every Sunday, WSOP hosts a $525 buy-in Paradise qualifier, guaranteeing at least one $30,000 package. This package mirrors the GGPoker offering, including a seat at the Main Event and hotel accommodations. Sub-qualifiers for the $525 event run on weekends with buy-ins starting at just $10.
Last year was a resounding success for the WSOP and GGPoker. WSOP Paradise 2023 exceeded exceptions, generating over $70 million in prize money and meeting its guarantee on the $15 million Main Event.
