888poker is reviving its Knockout Games in March, and Ivan covers the basics.
The series runs from March 20 to 24 and includes 28 tournaments to suit every bankroll. Buy-ins start at $5.50, while the headline $160 Main Event offers a $200,000 guarantee and features a Mystery Bounty format.
Their Tournament Ticket Super Giveaway is live, and all it takes to qualify is a deposit.
You could win up to one tournament ticket a day, with the prize pool drawn from any event that failed to meet its guarantee the previous day. Some of the most notable tickets up for grabs include the $110 Sunday Slam Mystery Bounty, $530 Thursday Crown Throne, and $530 Grand Slam PKO.
Players in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania will soon be unified in a single player pool for the first time, while Ontario remains separate, though also moving to the new FanDuel-branded platform.
The software will keep familiar table designs and main formats like Spin & Go and tournaments. The preview video shows some tweaks to the lobby and maybe a few extra features, but the core experience seems intact.
Get all the details in Anuj’s article below.
In a deep-dive by Zvon, the rise and rapid fall of DraftKings’ Electric Poker is put under the microscope.
The new game promised action with its lightning-fast blind structure and a rule forcing all players to go all-in after just three levels. At first, the innovation seemed to catch on, but players soon soured on being forced into high-variance play.
After launching in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, Electric Poker’s revenue has now dropped to just 5 percent of where it started. The article argues that the mandatory all-in format, unique to DraftKings, is the main culprit.
GGPoker’s Spin & Gold games have gone on a million-dollar frenzy, with five jackpots dropping in just four weeks.
As Anuj reports, these jackpots are designed to be unicorn-rare, but lately, they are showing up like clockwork.
The numbers are in, and BetRivers Poker’s Spring Championship Series seems to have delivered exactly what the operator was hoping for: more players, bigger prize pools, and a solid boost to its reputation.
According to Anuj, “the series awarded more than $655,000 in prize money, easily beating the advertised $515,350 guarantee.” Nearly 20,000 entries were logged across 88 tournaments, with only three overlays throughout the entire festival. The $200 Main Event drew 242 runners for a $45,254 prize pool, while the $10 Kick-Off attracted a field of 515.
Gold Million will run again on April 5, according to a confirmation from ClubWPT Gold on X.
The last time the tournament ran, it absolutely crushed its 1 million SC guarantee, ending up with a prize pool that more than doubled the target.
It’ll be interesting to see what guarantee they set for the next edition and whether players can push it past the mark again.
PokerStars’ Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) has now awarded more than $1.5 billion in total prize money since the series first launched back in 2009. Yes — billion with a B.
The festival is currently running its 18th edition, with $45 million guaranteed this year. More than $15 million has already been paid out, pushing the all-time total past that massive $1.5B mark.
Pretty incredible for one of online poker’s biggest tournament series.
Crypto-based offshore online poker room, CoinPoker, has added two more ambassadors to its roster, first announcing Abby Merk, who previously served as a BetMGM Poker ambassador. It has also brought on Argentinian musician and poker pro Alejandro “Papo MC” Lococo, who previously represented PokerStars.
The additions follow several recent signings, including Yohan Gilbert (“YoHViraL”), Mariano Grandoli, and Brantzen Wong, as the site continues to expand its ambassador lineup.
So yesterday, (March 8), Pennsylvania-based poker player Jeff Stellwagon tweeted that WSOP hadn’t adjusted its online tournament schedule for the leap-forward time change. His point: those events already run late enough for East Coasters.
Kevin Mathers quote-tweeted the post, and it turns out WSOP actually had adjusted the schedule right on time.
Jeff followed up, saying, “ Credit where it’s due,” WSOP did make the adjustment.
As anticipation builds around the upcoming FanDuel–PokerStars merger, PokerStars has announced a new tournament series for players in Ontario.
The Bounty Builder Series will run from March 13 to 23, featuring a total of C$750,000 in guaranteed prize pools.
Interestingly, the series could end up being the last major tournament festival on PokerStars Ontario before the impending FanDuel x PokerStars integration takes place, which could happen in the coming weeks.
For now, though, the announcement appears limited to Ontario. No similar Bounty Builder Series has been scheduled for players in the United States.
Yesterday, PokerStars confirmed its merger with US sportsbook giant and sister brand, FanDuel. The merger will apply to the US and Ontario markets, with the transition expected to take place soon.
As part of the change, PokerStars’ three US states will be combined into a single shared network. A brand-new poker client will also be introduced under the name “PokerStars Exclusively on FanDuel,” while the existing PokerStars software will be retired in the US and Ontario.
Below, we’ve rounded up some of the standout responses to the PokerStars x FanDuel merger.
If you follow the right people, you usually hear things early.
According to Kevin Mathers, the go-to source for all things WSOP-related, the online bracelet schedule is expected to be announced in early May.
We called it. And now it’s official.
PokerStars is merging with FanDuel in the US and Ontario.
What does it actually mean for players, competition, promos, and the future of the industry?
Here’s the breakdown 🧵👇
Yesterday was a big day for CoinPoker, as the operator launched its new software and kicked off a promo promising 100% rakeback for the entire month.
This morning, reactions are pouring in from the players, and it’s a mixed bag. The new software looks better, but some regs don’t seem thrilled about the functionality, and there is also talk about potential security risks.
Rake has been increased as well at lower stakes, but the rewards program has been revamped, so the operator is presenting it as a net positive for the players, but not everyone agrees on that particular point.
Wow. The Gold Million on ClubWPT Gold (CWG) absolutely smashed expectations.
With a 218 buy-in and a guaranteed 1,000,000 Gold Chips (equivalent to $1M USD), it was already one of the biggest tournaments ever hosted on the platform. And despite running just a single flight, after weeks of qualifiers, the turnout was massive.
The final numbers? A staggering 11,392 entries, generating a total prize pool of 2,278,400 Gold Chips.
By all accounts, this looks to be the largest tournament ever held on CWG.
And of course, the operator couldn’t resist having a little fun on social, cheekily tweeting:
“Up next: Gold Billion.”
The prestigious Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) got underway last Sunday on PokerStars, generating more than $3.6 million in prize money across 18 SCOOP events right out of the gate.
A few tournaments saw overlays, including the iconic Sunday Million with its traditional $215 buy-in. The event drew 4,780 entries, resulting in an overlay of more than $40,000.
SCOOP action resumes today with Day 2 play as the series continues to build momentum.
The Spring Championship Series is underway at BetRivers Poker, and there’s been a familiar face in the mix.
Phil Hellmuth, aka the “Poker Brat” and a BetRivers ambassador, was streaming last night while playing events in the series. If you tuned in, you got to watch him battle it out at the tables in real time. He’s set to return tomorrow, February 18.
BetRivers has also brought back its “Knock Out a VIP” promotion. Anyone who manages to eliminate Hellmuth from a tournament will win an exclusive T-shirt that reads, “I Knocked Out Hellmuth.”

As we already know, GGPoker is getting ready to roll out its mammoth $180 million guaranteed WSOP Super Circuit Online series.
And as it always does, Poker Industry PRO, our business analytics platform covering the online poker industry, dug into the numbers ahead of the festival.
Here’s what stands out:
This will be the 11th WSOP Circuit Online series hosted on GGPoker. Every single edition so far has guaranteed at least $100 million, with one cranking things up to $150 million.
Across all 11 festivals? A combined $1.23 billion in guaranteed prize money.
Yes, billion — with a “B.”
If you’re in the US or Canada and play on the sweepstakes poker site ClubWPT Gold, there’s a pretty big event happening this Sunday.
They’re running a $1,000,000 guaranteed SC event, which is rare for the platform. Seven-figure guarantees don’t come around too often on ClubWPT Gold, so this one stands out.
It’s a single-flight tournament with a 218 SC buy-in, and there are qualifiers starting from just 2 Chip, so there are multiple paths to get in.
GGPoker has revealed the full schedule for the WSOP Super Circuit, running from March 1–31, and the numbers are massive.
A staggering $180 million guaranteed is on the line, a huge $80 million increase on last year’s edition.
There are 18 WSOP Circuit rings up for grabs, headlined by a $15 million guaranteed Super Circuit Main Event, the largest guarantee ever offered outside of the WSOP Online Main Event.
A segment of WPT Global’s Canadian customers found themselves on the receiving end of a surprise email this week: their accounts are being moved to Nexa Poker, a new, invite-only room that looks like exactly like WPT Global.
Not all WPT Global accounts are affected. The WPT Global X account and Discord moderators are still active, and anyone concerned has been told to contact referral@wptglobal.com.
This promises to be excellent, discussing tilt, trolls and when to clap back at your opponent.
It runs in Feb 25 at 9pm EST.
The article draws on philosophy to frame the idea of 'ghosting’ in online poker, referencing Gilbert Ryle’s critique of mind-body dualism. In poker, though, the 'ghost’ isn’t a philosophical concept, it’s just someone else making your decisions for you.

Well, we know that FanDuel are testing a poker client in New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania under combined PokerStars-FanDuel branding.
Plus we have spotted job posts for poker roles at FanDuel.
Oh and three, a long-time product manager at PokerStars made a move to FanDuel.
Well, well, well… The official press release is still pending, but PokerStars has already rolled out the SCOOP 2026 schedule on its client.
This year’s Spring Championship of Online Poker runs from March 1–26 and comes with $45 million+ in guaranteed prize pools. That’s a noticeable dip compared to previous editions, but don’t let that fool you; the volume is massive.
🔹 $45M+ in guarantees
🔹 400 tournaments across 136 events
🔹 Buy-ins from $5.50 to $15,000
🔹 A SCOOP trophy for every event winner (except in certain countries due to regional regulations)
On top of that, the series is backed by two promotions worth over $600,000:
🎁 SCOOP Lucky Dip – $525,000 in prizes
🏆 $100,000 SCOOP Player of the Series leaderboard
Ok, the full schedule for the 57th World Series of Poker is out—100 live bracelets.
But where are the online bracelets?
Looks like WSOP is holding off announcing them this year, probably because their software deal with 888poker runs until early 2026. They’re likely waiting to see how that plays out before making it official.
Last year, they announced online bracelets in March, and in 2024, even later—but that was for different reasons, mainly the shared liquidity stuff.
The BetRivers Poker socks showed up… and people actually seem pretty into them 🧦
Didn’t expect this level of reaction, but some players are putting them right up there with trophies or rings.
“Idk accessories for both feet seem greater than a ring for just one hand.”
Fair point.
They were part of the Christmas promos from BetRivers Poker. If you missed them, there may be another chance later in the year.
GGPoker just dropped a cryptic post on X: “Be Ready Feb 13,” and it’s a Friday the 13th! 🤯
Could it be a spooky surprise, or are we in for something big like the WSOP 2026 schedule reveal? Maybe a new tournament series, promo, new partnership, or something totally unexpected? Whatever it is, we’re ready for it!
