Not often does it happen that a series is run exclusively for Ontario online poker players with nothing similar taking place on the international dot-com site. Indeed, GGPoker’s microFestival, catering to, as the name suggests – micro-stakes players, is running solely for Canada’s largest province.
The series kicked off on November 2 and runs through November 16, boasting C$300,000 in combined guarantees. While a few events have already wrapped up, plenty more remain on the schedule, including the marquee Main Event, which alone accounts for one-third of the total series guarantee, offering C$100,000.
GGPoker Ontario calls it its biggest micro series to date, claiming participation of over 50,000 players. Indeed, it stands among the largest series for Ontario players, particularly considering the low buy-ins that start at just C$2.50 and do not exceed C$25.

GGPoker Ontario microFestival November 2025 Overview:
- Runs from November 2 – 16
- C$300,000 in combined guarantee
- Buy-ins from C$2.50 to C$25
- Over 150 tournaments
- Four big events with C$165,000 guarantee
- Main Event promises C$100,000
Four Big Events
The series is headlined by four major events, one of which has already concluded, paying out over C$15,000 in prize money last Sunday. Three more big events remain on the schedule. One of these is Bounty MILLION$, which features dozens of Day 1 flights, culminating this Sunday. It comes with a buy-in of C$5.25 and a C$25,000 guarantee.
Then, on November 16, the Main Event concludes. It also follows a flighted format, with multiple Day 1s running daily. The event carries a buy-in of C$21 and a huge C$100,000 guarantee. It will feature the popular Mystery Bounty tournament format, with the top bounty prize set at C$10,000.
This format plays out in two stages: Stage 1 runs around the clock until Day 2. Day 2 takes place on Sunday, November 16, that’s when the mystery bounties come into play, so players will want to qualify for Day 2 to take full advantage of the format.
On the same night, the Omaha counterpart, what GGPoker brands as “Omaholic,” also wraps up its Final Stage. It carries a C$21 buy-in and a C$25,000 guarantee and will also follow the Mystery Bounty format.
These four headline events alone boast a combined guarantee of C$165,000, more than half of the entire C$300,000 prize pool, making them the ones players should definitely aim to play, as most of the top prizes will be awarded there.
Action for Everyone
For those seeking fast-paced action rather than multi-day events, there are plenty of daily tournaments running, with buy-ins ranging from C$2.50 to C$10.50. The schedule includes a wide variety of formats, such as Bounty tournaments in both Hold’em and Omaha, plenty of Deepstacks, Turbos, classic No Limit Hold’em events, Superstack tournaments, and more.
Altogether, there are over 150 tournaments on the schedule, each carrying its own guarantee. Despite the modest buy-ins, GGPoker is also running satellites to the Main Event starting at just C$1.
This marks the second time that the microFestival has run exclusively for Ontario players this year. The first edition took place in January with nearly identical guarantees and a similar tournament lineup.
Meanwhile, online qualifiers for the WSOP Paradise 2025 festival are running around the clock. Just like the qualifiers for the WSOP Montreal Circuit stop, buy-ins start as low as C$1.50.
Half a dozen players have already secured packages valued at C$42,000 each, which include a seat in the WSOP Super Paradise Main Event, featuring a record $60 million in guarantees and a nine-night stay at The Royal at Atlantis.
The WSOP Paradise 2025 festival returns for its third edition from December 4 to 18, featuring 15 gold bracelet events.
