The World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) is returning to Quebec this March and April for another edition of WSOPC Playground.

Historically one of the most successful live tournament poker series in all of Canada, the WSOPC Playground festival will play out at the popular Playground Casino in Montreal, Quebec’s largest poker room.

For the players who are still looking to secure a place at WSOPC Playground, GGPoker is running a number of last-minute qualifiers on both its international platform (Canadian players only) and at GGPoker Ontario.

The first WSOPC Playground Main Event of the year kicks off on April 1, with direct Main Event qualifiers available at GGPoker until March 23.

Three Steps to WSOPC Playground for Canadian Players

With the WSOPC Playground around the corner, GGPoker is running the final batch of online qualifiers for the event over the coming week.

For players at GGPoker Ontario, one daily C$75 satellite with guaranteed direct entries to the C$2,500 WSOPC Main Event will run each day from March 18 to 23, while additional step satellites will be available in the lobby throughout each day.

The step satellites offer a three-step way to WSOPC Playground, with Step 1 buy-in set at just C$1, and Step 2 buy-in of C$10. Players without a bankroll on GGPoker Ontario will have a chance to qualify for Step 1 for free via daily freerolls, with 5 Step 1 tickets added to the prize pool.

108 players have already won their seats in the WSOPC Playground via GGPoker Ontario, and here is a look at the remaining satellites that could add your name to that list:

What to Expect from WSOPC Playground

Following two mega successful WSOPC satellites at Playground Casino in 2025, GGPoker and WSOP are bringing the staple festival back to Quebec in a week’s time.

The first 2026 edition of WSOPC Playground starts on March 23 with a C$400 Mini Main Event, a C$500k guaranteed tournament that will set the tone for the remainder of the festival.

A total of 18 WSOPC rings will be given away at Playground this time around, with buy-ins ranging from C$400 to C$5,000, and a variety of game formats in play.

A dedicated C$400 Ladies Event will also be on the schedule on April 4, featuring a C$10,000 guaranteed prize pool, giving women in poker a chance to compete in a more empowering atmosphere than traditional poker tournaments.

The staple of the whole festival will be the C$2,500 WSOPC Main Event, which features three starting days on April 1-3, and guarantees a C$2,500,000 prize pool, a testimony to the incredible popularity of the event.

For players who fail to win their seats through online qualifiers at GGPoker, but are still looking to play for less, Playground Casino will be running a number of last-minute Milestone Satellites with a C$300 buy-in and up to 15 Main Event tickets guaranteed.

Head over to GGPoker or GGPoker Ontario now to compete for your seat at WSOPC Playground from the comfort of your home, or visit Playground Casino from March 23 to enter the preliminary events and the Main Event satellites to play for WSOPC rings and a place among Canada’s poker elite.
