How to Win with Seven Deuce Madness
All players with a Clubs Poker account are eligible to participate in the Seven Deuce Madness. Throughout the week of March 16-22, special “Seven-Deuce” tables will be available in the cash game lobby across the stakes, ranging from the micros to the high-stakes.
Once you join a Seven-Deuce table, all you need to do to win points toward the Seven Deuce Madness leaderboard is win pots holding 7-2, the worst hand in poker.
All combinations of 7-2 count toward the promotion, whether they are suited or offsuit, and winning a hand is all that matters. Whether you bluff your way to victory or make a full house, winning a pot with 7-2 will earn you 1 point toward the leaderboard. Split pots count in full, while only the first run counts if players choose to “run it twice”.
In addition, winning pots with 7-2 at the specially designated tables will win you extra SC from every active player at the table, reminiscent of the 7-2 Game played on TV poker shows like High-Stakes Poker.
The more pots you win holding 7-2 during the promotional period, the more leaderboard points you will earn. At the end of the promotion, players will earn up to 500 big blinds for the stake at which they won the highest number of points.
Seven Deuce Madness Leaderboard Explained
The Seven Deuce Madness leaderboard will be updated regularly throughout the promotional period, with every hand won with 7-2 in the hole earning a player one leaderboard point.
Players will accumulate points irrespective of the stakes they play, but the final prizes will be paid in big blinds, which makes the blinds you choose to play for very important.
For example, if a player finishes in 1st position at the end of Seven Deuce Madness, they will win 500 big blinds. If the majority of their points came from playing SC1/2 games, they will get SC1,000, 500 big blinds for their favorite stake.
If a player ends up winning the same number of points at two separate stakes, the big blinds will be awarded for the higher stake.
