Ladder Your Way Up to WSOPC Malta
The inaugural WSOPC festival in Malta will kick off on September 30 and offer 12 WSOPC Ring events, including a €1,500 WSOPC Main Event, which will be the highlight of the festival.
All players on the international GGPoker platform will have a chance to qualify for the Main Event through a series of online satellites, including daily freerolls, where €5 entry tickets will be up for grabs.
From there, potential qualifiers will need to progress through three steps, with €5, €50, and €150 entry points all available. If you already have a bankroll and aren’t looking to qualify from the bottom, you can enter at any of the four levels and play for your spot at the tables in the Main Event.
While all step satellites will run on a daily basis, the €150 Super Satellites, where the €1,500 seats will be given away, will run exclusively on Sundays, starting August 16. This means you will have a full week to win your €150 ticket, providing plenty of time to qualify even through freerolls.
World Class Poker Is Coming to Malta
For some years now, Malta has been one of the centers of European poker, with Casino Malta and other poker rooms on the Mediterranean island hosting major poker events across multiple tours.
This year, for the first time, Malta will play host to a WSOPC festival, following the success of the WSOPC events hosted in nearby Cyprus. WSOP will look to take advantage of the island’s established reputation as a major live poker hub to bring players together and have them play in an iconic festival.
Casino Malta has already built a reputation for hosting some of the best tournaments in all of Europe, and coupled with Malta’s mild climate and unforgettable vacation vibes, it is the ideal destination for all poker players looking to mix business with pleasure.
Sarne Lightman, GGPoker’s Managing Director, said: “We are thrilled to launch qualifiers to Malta’s very first WSOP Circuit, in partnership with Casino Malta. Malta is an iconic destination and a true European poker hotspot. By offering direct online satellites on GGPoker, we’re giving our community the chance to win their way to a world-class festival, compete for WSOP glory, and enjoy everything this incredible island has to offer.”
At the same time, the General Director of Casino Malta, Slawomir Switalski, commented: “We are proud to welcome the WSOP Circuit to Casino Malta for the very first time and to partner with GGPoker in bringing players from across Europe to this landmark event.”
The partnership between GGPoker, WSOP, and Casino Malta is nearly guaranteed to produce great results, with all three brands having a long history of organizing premium events in their respective arenas.
12 WSOPC Rings and WSOP Paradise Packages Up for Grabs
The upcoming WSOPC festival in Malta will offer 12 major WSOPC Ring events, with buy-ins ranging from €300 to €2,500, and a variety of poker formats, including the popular Mystery Bounty.
The players who make their way down to Malta will have an action-packed 10 days, with daily opportunities to play for WSOP silverware and valuable cash prizes.
To top it all off, all 12 WSOPC Ring winners will also receive a WSOP Paradise package worth $5,000, which is being awarded to all WSOPC champions this season.
This makes for an amazing opportunity for all low-to-mid stakes tournament grinders, as the $5k added into all events with limited buy-ins makes for lots of added value on top of the regular prize pool.
