GGPoker is giving Ontario players access to opportunities that are unavailable anywhere else on its network.
The market-leading operator for online poker in Ontario and one of the dominant brands for online poker in Canada and across the global dot-com market is currently running dedicated qualification paths for two major World Series of Poker events: the ongoing WSOP 2026 in Las Vegas and the inaugural WSOP Super Circuit Canada, which arrives in the country for the first time this August.
These qualification campaigns are exclusive to players located in Ontario.
While the WSOP Circuit has visited Canada on multiple occasions over the years, 2026 marks the launch of the WSOP Super Circuit in the country. The enhanced version of the long-running Circuit series will make its Canadian debut at WSOP Montreal at the Playground Poker Club in Kahnawake, Quebec.

A typical Super Circuit festival features around 18 ring events, and the first-ever WSOP Super Circuit Canada is scheduled to run from August 24 through September 9. Although organizers have yet to release the complete schedule, they have already confirmed a C$5,000 Main Event carrying a record-setting C$10 million guaranteed prize pool.
The festival is particularly noteworthy because it will be the first WSOP Super Circuit held anywhere in North America. Despite the series’ long history, WSOP has never staged a Super Circuit stop in the US. The Canadian debut is being delivered through a partnership with its online partner, GGPoker.
WSOP Super Circuit Debut in Canada
To help players secure a seat in what is expected to become the largest tournament ever held in Canada, GGPoker has launched a comprehensive online qualification campaign available exclusively to Ontario residents. The operator is offering numerous chances to qualify, making it clear that it intends to send a substantial contingent of players to Playground.
That approach has paid off before. On several occasions, players who qualified through GGPoker satellites have gone on to capture Main Event titles and other ring events on the WSOP Circuit schedule. Given the scale of the current promotion, the upcoming Super Circuit could see a record number of online qualifiers take their shot at the festival.
The qualification system is structured across three stages, allowing players with a wide range of bankrolls to participate. The journey begins with C$5 Stage 1 satellites, which feed into C$50 Stage 2 qualifiers. Successful players then advance to the Final Stage, where seats are valued at C$500. From there, players compete for the ultimate prize — a seat in the C$5,000 Main Event.
The C$5 Stage 1 satellites run every few minutes throughout the day, while Stage 2 tournaments are scheduled every couple of hours. The Final Stage takes place every Sunday and guarantees at least 30 Main Event seats each week, representing C$150,000 in value.
Early numbers suggest there is already significant value available. This week alone, the Stage 1 qualifiers attracted more than 4,500 entries, while the Final Stage is currently running with an overlay exceeding half of its guaranteed prize pool. If participation levels remain similar, players can expect continued overlay opportunities in the weeks ahead.
Road to Vegas
Alongside the Super Circuit qualifiers, GGPoker Ontario is also running its exclusive Road to Vegas promotion, giving players a chance to win packages to the WSOP 2026 Main Event.
Like the Super Circuit satellites, these qualifiers are available around the clock, providing frequent opportunities for players to earn their way into poker’s most prestigious tournament.
The qualification ladder begins with a C$15 Step satellite, which feeds into a C$150 Step tournament. Players who advance then gain access to the C$1,500 MEGA Road to Vegas qualifier. Both the C$15 and C$150 tournaments run every 30 minutes, while the C$1,500 MEGA takes place daily and awards one WSOP 2026 package each time it runs.
Each package is valued at C$14,000 and includes a seat in the WSOP Main Event, along with additional funds to help cover accommodation and travel expenses in Las Vegas.
Six Ontario players have already secured their packages through the promotion, and many more winners are expected before the campaign concludes.
Players in the international dot-com market currently do not have access to a comparable Road to Vegas promotion. While they can still qualify for the WSOP Main Event through the WSOP Express pathway, those qualifiers award Main Event seats only and do not include the full travel package available to Ontario players.
