The Summer Series over at Clubs Poker is now in full swing, with almost half of the schedule in the books. So far, the series has posted some strong numbers, and there is plenty more action to come.

The series kicked off on June 26, featuring a total of 190 events, 400,000 SC in guaranteed prizes, and more than 20 different poker variations, making it the biggest and most ambitious online festival we’ve seen on Clubs Poker since its launch.

To spice things up, the operator also added 22 Championship events to the mix, where in addition to prizes, the winners also receive physical bracelets. With the Summer Series now approaching its halfway point, it seems like players have taken a liking to what Clubs Poker has prepared for them.

Strong Turnout & Fierce Competition

After nearly 80 completed tournaments, the Summer Series has awarded 225,902 SC in prizes, which puts it well ahead of its 400,000 overall guarantee.

A total of 1,222 players took to the virtual felt to compete in a wide range of poker variations. While Texas Hold’em tournaments make up the bulk of the schedule, many other variants are being featured, including Razz, Stud, HORSE, PLO, 2-7 Triple Draw, and even Badugi.

At the time of writing, eight Championship events have been concluded. The largest one so far was the Mystery Bounty Championship, which attracted a field of 232 players, and the winner, ‘Liljoe44,’ walked away with 617 SC — a solid return on their 22 SC entry.

As mentioned, all Championship event winners will also receive custom silver bracelets, which is certainly a nice touch and a good way for Clubs Poker to stand out from other sweepstakes poker sites.

As is often the case, there are a few players who got off to a hot start. One player, ‘406snowghost,’ has already claimed three wins in the Summer Series, including the victory in the FL Hold’em Championship.

In terms of the biggest prizes won, it is ‘105cap’ leading the way, having won Events #4 and #34 (110 Nightly) for 1,998 SC and 1,813 SC.

Finally, the largest field of the Summer Series came in CSS #21 — Sunday Night 22. The tournament attracted 382 entries, resulting in a prize pool of 7,640 SC and the top prize of 1,680 SC — the fourth largest so far.

Plenty More Action to Come

While the big summer festival at Clubs Poker is about halfway through, there are many more interesting and rewarding events still to come.

A dozen Championships are still on the schedule between July 7 and 19. These include several Hold’em tournaments, as well as PLO, 2-7 Triple Draw, Badugi, 2-7 Single Draw, 8-Game, and more. So, even if you missed the first half, you are by no means late to the party.

Of course, the biggest event of the Summer Series will be taking place at the very end. The 22 SC Main Event will play out on Sunday, July 19, featuring a big guarantee of 10,000 SC. This is a Hold’em tournament, so you can join the action even if mixed games aren’t your cup of tea.

Beyond Championship events, there are tournaments to fit every bankroll, and three separate leaderboards awarding a total of 15,000 SC. While you may have some catching up to do in terms of leaderboard points, there is still plenty of time and more than enough tournaments if you set your mind to it.
