The 2026 World Series of Poker attracted a record number of entries in Las Vegas, but the audience watching from home was even larger.

According to figures released by the organizers, the WSOP 2026 series generated 378.3 million views and impressions across its social media channels during the 57th annual festival. Over the course of the 100 live bracelet events, the WSOP also added 222,828 new followers and subscribers across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and X.

The figures offer a glimpse into the growing digital footprint of poker’s biggest annual festival, which this year paired record attendance on the casino floor with one of its largest online audiences to date.

“The 57th annual World Series of Poker proved that Las Vegas remains the undisputed epicenter of the poker universe,” said Ty Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of the WSOP.

Meta Account for Two-Thirds of Total Reach

Facebook and Instagram accounted for the vast majority of the WSOP’s social media reach.

Facebook generated 127 million views, the highest of any platform, while Instagram was close behind with 125 million. Together, the two Meta platforms were responsible for roughly two-thirds of the WSOP’s total social media audience during the series.

Instagram added 54,450 new followers, while Facebook gained 56,800.

YouTube ranked third by total views, recording 38.7 million while also delivering the strongest subscriber growth. More than 103,000 users subscribed to the WSOP’s YouTube channel during the series, accounting for nearly half of all new followers added across the organization’s social media platforms.

On X, the WSOP reported 36.6 million impressions and 8,450 new followers.

ESPN Returns, Global Coverage Expands

One of the biggest developments away from the tables this summer was the return of the WSOP to ESPN after a five-year absence.

Under a new media rights agreement, ESPN is once again the home of the WSOP in the United States, airing live coverage throughout the series, including the Main Event and its delayed final table.

The broadcasts reunited Lon McEachern and Norman Chad, whose commentary has become synonymous with the Main Event over the past two decades. Live digital coverage and the Main Event final table were led by Ali Nejad and newly inducted Poker Hall of Famer Nick Schulman, while Jeff Platt, Joe Stapleton, Maria Ho, and David Williams featured across the broader broadcast team.

Internationally, the WSOP also expanded its reach through a new three-year partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery. The agreement brings Main Event coverage to viewers across Europe, Asia, and Latin America through Eurosport, TNT Sports in the UK and Ireland, and HBO Max in select markets. The package includes six 45-minute highlight shows from the Main Event, along with live coverage of the final table on August 3–5.

Additional broadcast partners include Abema in Japan and Groupe M6 in France.

According to the WSOP, its linear television and digital broadcasts were available in more than 300 million homes across over 70 countries, giving the series one of its broadest international distributions to date.

Edited broadcasts from the 2026 WSOP began airing on July 21, allowing fans to follow the action leading up to the delayed Main Event final table in early August.

Digital Reach Continues to Grow

The latest figures highlight how the WSOP has evolved beyond a live poker festival.

While nearly 252,000 entries were recorded across the 100 live bracelet events, the action also generated hundreds of millions of interactions across the WSOP’s own social media platforms, with hand highlights, eliminations, interviews, and bracelet celebrations attracting viewers throughout the summer.

The numbers also reflect the organization’s growing investment in digital content, complementing its expanded broadcast coverage and helping bring the WSOP to audiences far beyond the tournament floor.

“What is truly remarkable this year is how our community expanded far beyond the physical walls of the casino floor,” Stewart said in the press release. “Through our newly redesigned final table arena, extensive linear broadcast schedule, and unprecedented digital engagement, we brought the drama, excitement, and glory of winning a WSOP gold bracelet to millions of new fans worldwide. We are incredibly proud of this summer’s success and cannot wait to witness the Final Nine battle for the World Championship on ESPN next month.”
