PokerStars on FanDuel has announced its next major tournament series, with the September Dynasty Series set to run simultaneously across its US and Ontario online poker platforms from September 12 to 28, featuring millions in guaranteed prize money.

Before that gets underway, however, PokerStars on FanDuel Ontario is giving players in the province another reason to log in, with the operator currently running a special Summer Sendoff festival offering almost free-to-enter tournaments throughout the week.

The festival began on September 4 and runs through September 13, with C$10,000 in prize money up for grabs for just a 1-cent buy-in. The promotion is effectively a centroll, allowing Ontario online poker players to compete for tournament tickets and cash without having to put up a meaningful entry fee. No such tournaments are being hosted for US players.

According to the schedule in the PokerStars lobby, the festival consists of 10 events, with one tournament running each day. Prize pools range from C$250 to C$5,000, although the prizes are not always paid entirely in cash. Most of the events award tickets that can be used for tournaments on the weekly schedule, while some offer cash prizes directly.

The tournaments are primarily No-Limit Hold’em, with events running at turbo or hyper-turbo speeds. There is also a Pot-Limit Omaha tournament included in the schedule, giving players some variety during the week.

Much of the centroll schedule has already been completed, but players who missed the earlier events still have four opportunities to take part. Around C$6,500 in prizes remains to be awarded across those final four days, including the largest prize pool of the promotion.

Today’s event awards C$1,000 in straight cash prizes, while tomorrow’s tournament offers C$250 through Spin Tickets. Another C$250 is available through Spin Tickets on Saturday, before the promotion concludes on Sunday with its headline C$5,000 event.

Sunday’s tournament is the biggest of the entire Summer Sendoff schedule, with the prize pool being distributed through a combination of tournament tickets and cash prizes.

September Dynasty Series

The Summer Sendoff runs alongside the build-up to PokerStars on FanDuel’s September Dynasty Series, which begins on September 12 and continues through September 28.

For US online poker players, the series features 100 tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $10 to $1,500. The centerpiece is a $300 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event with a $350,000 guarantee. Overall, more than $3.5 million is guaranteed across the series for players in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, which continue to share a single player pool on the platform.

The Ontario schedule is smaller, with 61 tournaments planned and a broadly similar range of buy-ins. Guarantees have not yet been listed for every event, although they are expected to range from around C$1,500 to C$100,000, with the full series likely to offer somewhere between C$1 million and C$1.5 million in guaranteed prize money.

The US schedule also provides more variety in tournament formats. In addition to the No-Limit Hold’em events, players can find Pot-Limit Omaha and 5-Card PLO tournaments. Mixed games, however, have yet to appear on the new PokerStars on FanDuel platform.

There are also a couple of Zoom tournaments on the schedule, along with a heads-up Total KO event and four-handed tournaments. These additions give the US series a wider selection of formats beyond the standard No-Limit Hold’em schedule.

The three Main Events alone account for $625,000 in guaranteed prize money. The $300 Main Event leads the way with its $350,000 guarantee, followed by the $1,500 High Roller Main with $200,000 guaranteed and the $50 Mini Main with a $75,000 guarantee.

Several other events carry six-figure guarantees. The Storm and Dynasty tournaments are scheduled for the first two Sundays of the series, with both carrying at least $100,000 in guaranteed prize money.

The schedule also includes several established PokerStars tournament formats, including Super Tuesday, Thursday Thrill, Supersonic, Monday Mystery and Royale tournaments.

The Ontario schedule follows a similar structure, with three Main Events all scheduled for September 27. Players will be able to choose between C$50, C$300 and C$1,500 buy-in events, although the guarantees for those tournaments have not yet been announced.

The September Dynasty Series runs from September 12 to 28, but Ontario players still have the last few days to take advantage of the Summer Sendoff. The centroll promotion continues through September 13, with C$10,000 in total prizes being awarded for a 1-cent entry.
