As part of this collaboration, GGPoker will be hosting weekly freerolls allowing online poker in Ontario players to win tickets to live events, including concerts, sports events, theater performances and more across Canada and the United States.
The free-to-enter tournament called “GG x Ticketmaster Gift Cards Freeroll” will take place every Sunday at 7 PM ET exclusively on the GGPoker Ontario platform. The freerolls are worth CAD $5000 and the top ten finishers will receive a $500 Ticketmaster Gift Card, which is redeemable for Live Nation events.
The freerolls are structured as a Freebuy format which, as the name suggests, are free to enter but use the rebuy/add-on structure. This allows players to re-enter the tournament for a minimal cost if they lose all their chips. Players can also purchase extra chips by adding on once the rebuy period ends.
The rebuys and a single add-on cost $1 with players receiving 10,000 chips. There is no limit to the number of rebuys but these are only available during the late registration period, which runs for the first 11 levels.
The top ten finishers in the freeroll will be emailed within 72 hours to the email linked to their poker account and will be provided a unique Ticketmaster Gift Card Voucher Code.
How to Redeem the Ticketmaster Gift Card?
- Players who have won the Ticketmaster Gift Card on GGPoker.ca can redeem the gift card by navigating to the payment screen and clicking the “Add Credits / Promo Codes / Gift Card.” In case players are unable to find this button, it means that the gift card cannot be used for that event.
- Enter both the gift card number and the corresponding PIN. Every Ticketmaster Gift Card is equipped with a unique PIN number for security purposes.
- Once a player has entered the required information, the balance available on your Gift Card will be applied to their order, making the necessary deductions accordingly.
The collaboration comes just days after Live Nation teamed up with Great Canadian Entertainment, a leading gaming, entertainment and hospitality company, to bring top-tier music and comedy acts to its gambling venues across the country. Great Canadian operates 25 properties in the country, including casinos and race tracks.
