The World Poker Tour (WPT) have just announced the second half of their Season XII schedule, which includes seven additional main tour stops as well as nine additional WPT Regional and WPT National events.

The second half of the season kicks off at the start of 2014 in Atlantic City at the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa with the WPT Borgata Winter Open. The Borgata will also lay host to the final stop of the season when the tour returns for the newly lowered buy-in of the $15,400 World Poker Tour Championship.

Sponsored by PartyPoker, the series highlight recently moved from the Bellagio in Nevada to New Jersey for the first time in 12 years.

The Main Tour also finds itself in familiar territory at the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek in Florida for the WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open in February. Then it’s back to California for a pair of televised events with the LA Poker Classic and one of the most unique events on the tour, the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star. To wrap up the month of March, the WPT crosses the country again for the WPT bestbet Open in Jacksonville, Florida.

Perhaps the most anticipated event on the schedule comes in April when the WPT returns to Hollywood, Florida for the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Showdown which, like last August’s Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open, will have a $10 million dollar guarantee attached to the tournament.

“The much-anticipated second half of the WPT schedule was definitely worth the wait,” WPT Executive Tour Director Matt Savage said in the press release. “Players can start to book travel knowing that many quality events in great locations are now in place.”

For those looking to participate in the World Poker Tour but perhaps don’t have a Main Event caliber bankroll, the WPT Regional and WPT National events carry a variety of buy-in which the WPT hope appeal to players on every level.
